Your jewellery doesn’t love harsh chemicals

Try to avoid perfumes, hand creams, hairspray, chlorine from swimming pools, and salt water.

Gentle hand washing with a little soap is absolutely fine, but if you can, take your jewellery off before showering, bathing, swimming or exercising.

When it needs a little clean…

If your piece starts to look a little dull, or you notice something caught around the stones, give it a gentle clean with warm water, a little mild soap, and a soft cloth or very soft toothbrush.

No need to scrub hard — just a little gentle care is enough. Rinse carefully and dry with a soft cloth.

And when you’re not wearing it…

Keep your jewellery somewhere dry and safe, preferably in its own soft pouch or jewellery box.
