How to Measure Your Ring Finger Size at Home

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • A strip of paper (about 10 cm long and 5 mm wide) OR a piece of string
  • A pen or pencil
  • A ruler (millimetre measurements work best)

Wrap, mark, and measure — that's all it takes.

Follow these steps

Wrap

Wrap the paper or string around the base of the finger you want to measure.

Mark

Mark the point where the paper overlaps (or cut the string at the exact meeting point).

Measure

Lay it flat and measure the length with a ruler in millimetres. This number is the circumference of your finger.

Convert

Convert the measurement into a ring size using the chart below.
